gingerbread simple syrup


This is the perfect seasonal addition to lattes and cocktails- it tasted just like gingerbread and is perfect for all the ginger-lovers out there.


1 c. boiling water

3/4 c. sugar

2 tsp. ground ginger

1 tsp. cinnamon

1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

To make:

Mix all ingredients together and stir until the sugar dissolves.  Let sit overnight before straining through a fine mesh strainer to remove spices.  Store in the refrigerator.
